DataPath is a global telecommunications systems integrator specializing in satellite earth terminals and network solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Writer writes and edits for clarity a variety of technical manuals for documentation of satellite communications systems and associated IP-based band systems. Technical writers are responsible for textual content, grammar, punctuation, readability, formatting and graphics integration of technical documentation.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Core Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field
4-6 years of experience in satellite communications technology or closely related area
3 years experience as a technical writer or editor
Must be able to write technical documentation to military standards
Must be natively fluent in written and spoken English
Must be able to edit English text for soiling, grammar and punctuation, formatting and correct reading grade level.
Must also exhibit adept skills with Microsoft Office Professional 203, particularly MS Word 2003
